Into Accessories is a sustainable jewelry brand from Hoorn that combines humor, colour, and an inexhaustible source of creativity. All jewelry is made from discarded pieces that I let shine a second time. Since 2012, I, Maruschka Winterdal, have been designing the most colorful, out-of-the-box jewelry and accessories. In addition to the handmade collection, I also search every week for preloved and vintage jewelry accessories that fits into my personal collection. This way, I ensure that all these items do not end up in the landfill. Buying from wholesalers is a thing of the past, and I absolutely do not want that. There is already so much waste in the world. Moreover, I do not want to blend into the gray mass but to be unique.

Meet Maruschka

Hi, My name is Maruschka Winterdal founder and designer of Into Accessories. Im not your basic jewelry collector.Since I can remembere I was crazy for jewelry and accessories and have built quite a collection. All sparkly, colourful and striking jewelry will end up in my collection. 

Over the last 16 years I have been working for various fashion organizations, as a shop manager, webshop designer, photographer, visual merchandiser and much more. On daily basis I had direct contact with customers and saw firsthand how much was produced and thrown away. Aside from textile pollution, a lot of fashion accessories and jewelry are still being discarded. If they are missing a stone, broken, or even worse, no longer 'On trend.' In 2012, I founded Into Accessories and started designing for the first time. I quickly created my own style. And the Animal necklace was born. My signature 'animal' necklaces .My signature 'animal' chains return in every collection. All my jewelry is made from recycled materials, giving discarded jewelry a second life. My jewelry quickly found its way to several sales points in the Netherlands. I have also collaborated with various creatives from the business.

In 2017, I decided to work full-time as a Shop Manager at a really cool brand, which put Into Accessories on HOLD for a while. During my maternity leave and parental leave this year, 2023, I had plenty of time and felt the urge to get back into it. A month after giving birth, I decided to restart Into Accessories and went back to the drawing board. I am full of ideas and am curious about what the future will bring.
